Vanessa Blevins

I have lived in Washington Court House since 1990. I own and operate Vanessa L Blevins, CPA & Company, LLC. I started the accounting firm in 1992 in our house. I now have 7+ full and part-time employees. I decided to purchase two additional businesses that are important to our community, Leading Edge Technologies and North Shore Primitives. In both businesses the employees agreed to continue to work for us. Great employees are the only way I am able to operate our businesses.

I have 2 children, Ali and Zack. Both children were born in Fayette County and went to Washington Court House schools. Ali is 32 and Zack is 30. Ali is a Toxicologist and works for a company out of England. Zack is a pilot in the Army and is stationed in Texas.

My husband that worked with me for over 30 years passed away in 2022.

I love decorating and purchasing antiques and collectibles. I love animals and have 4 cats.

I am originally from Paintsville, Kentucky. I received my accounting degree from Morehead State University in 1983 and my Masters degree from Franklin University in 2012.

Bailey Johnson

In 2022, I became part of the Vanessa Blevins CPA family. My passion for working in this community has made me a great asset to the team. I have over 15 years of customer service experience which enables me to work closely with business owners. I am meticulous and make sure everything is correct and correlates. I am a 2010 graduate from Washington CH, Go Blue Lions!! I am married to the man of my dreams. We have three children together, son Rylan and our two daughters Rori and Ruby.

I am creative and love Rock and Roll. In my free time I enjoy going to my children's sporting events, camping, and being around friends watching live music.

Judy Helsel

Judy was born and raised in Williamsport and graduated from Westfall Local Schools. She also graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Education.

She is the fifth of five children and has three sisters and one brother, nine nieces and nephews and eight grand nieces and nephews. She has been married to her husband for ten years. They have two sons and three daughters blended and spoil nine grandchildren.

She would rather be reading or writing than most any other activity. She likes to hike in nature, listen to the ocean and chase waterfalls.

Kellie Smith

She has two wonderful children, Ryan is 18 and will soon be joining the Army, and Sara is 16 and just started her junior year of high school. She has been married to her husband and best friend, Dusty, for almost 22 years and have built a great life together! She enjoys watching both her kiddos play soccer, run track, and listening to her daughter drum her heart out in band. Her kids are her pride and joy! She has a few chickens, 1 duck, 3 cats Kitty, Larry, & Louie, and 1 dog (her personal favorite), Olivia. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, watching movies, and traveling.

Kylie Blair

My name is Kylie Blair, and I serve as the firm's Workforce Manager and a Staff Accountant. I help coordinate our team and day-to-day office operations, and I support the firm's accounting work.

I was born and raised here in Washington Court House, Ohio. I am a 2008 Graduate from Washington High School. I've been working with and helping people from our community for over 15 years. I have 5 spunky kids at home, and I am a big animal lover! I spend my spare time with my family and friends and find joy in helping others in any way I can.

It's a pleasure to work with and for Vanessa. She is a very knowledgeable CPA, and I am proud to be a part of her local firm! Brandy Evans

Brandy Evans is the first person you will see or speak with when you contact our office. She greets clients at the front desk, answers the phones and helps with day-to-day communication and front office coordination, so that every call and visit is handled promptly and courteously.

Whether you are dropping off documents, scheduling an appointment or have a general question about our services, Brandy will make sure you are connected with the right person on our team. We are proud to have her as part of our local firm.
